As Exxeta Serbia is located in Belgrade & Novi Sad you can choose to work from our offices or work remotely. You will work on modern vehicle applications as part of an interdisciplinary team of app, platform, and UX experts.

What awaits you

  • Development and enhancement of in-car applications for vehicle HMIs
    Implementation of modern user interfaces using Qt and QML.
  • Development of backend and service logic in Go (Golang).
  • Connecting the apps to vehicle signals, system services, and backend interfaces.
  • Integrating the applications into existing in-car app frameworks and platforms.
  • Conducting tests:
    - locally in the development environment
    - on test benches
    - in the vehicle
  • Analyzing and resolving errors (debugging, log analysis).
  • Close collaboration with UX/UI, platform teams, and vehicle engineering.
  • Ensuring performance, stability, safety, and driver distraction requirements.

What we expect from you

  • Personal Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Technical Expertise: Several years of experience in software development, ideally in the automotive or embedded environment.
  • Very good knowledge of:
    - Qt (Qt5/Qt6)
    - QML / JavaScript
    - Go (Golang)
  • Experience with Linux-based systems.
  • Understanding of frontend/backend architectures in embedded environments.
  • Experience in debugging.
  • AI Expertise: Practical experience using modern AI tools to support everyday tasks.
  • Mindset: A team-oriented approach, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
  • Would be a plus: 
    Knowledge of C++ in the Qt environment
    Experience with container-based applications
    Experience with in-car app frameworks and HMI design guidelines
    Experience with Qt migrations (e.g., Qt5 → Qt6)
    Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
    Understanding of UX in safety-critical systems
