What awaits you

  • Development and adaptation of AAOS or AOSP for specific vehicle models.
  • Integration of vehicle hardware and software.
  • Development and maintenance of system services and drivers.
  • Collaboration with hardware engineers to implement vehicle functions.
  • Execution of system tests and debugging at hardware level.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and certification standards.
  • Implementation of OTA updates and maintenance of the system software. 

What we expect from you

  • Personal background: You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or in a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Sound knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Rust, C++.
    • You have experience with AOSP and Android NDK.
    • Knowledge of system programming and Linux Kernel development.
    • You are familiar with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN bus.
    • You have experience with debugging tools such as adb, logcat and gdb.
    • Additionally, you have experience with Gradle and Soong Build System.
  • AI expertise: Practical experience using modern AI tools to support everyday tasks.
  • Mindset: You have good communication skills and teamwork is important to you.  
  • Would be a plus!
    • Experience with automotive grade Linux (AGL).
    • Knowledge of the development of safety-critical systems.
    • Experience with the integration of infotainment systems.
    • Knowledge of the implementation of vehicle-diagnostic and telemetry systems.
    • Knowledge of the Android Security mechanisms (SELinux).
