As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will work in a motivated team on implementing and optimizing continuous delivery pipelines, automating operational processes, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our software development lifecycle.

What awaits you

  • Responsibility for analyzing, consulting, and implementing customer requirements regarding architecture, best practices, methods, standards, and concepts for the realization of software solutions within the system landscapes in the area of DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
  • Support of complex IT transformations and projects, collaborating closely with development and operations teams to integrate best practices into the development process.
  • Deepening acquired knowledge and actively contributing to our team by exploring new topics and technologies in the DevOps space.
  • Great creative freedom and realization of your ideas, contributing to the continuous improvement of the development and deployment processes.
  • Independently and autonomously designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions based on current technology stacks and agile procedures.
  • Technical and professional support in the development of new product and solution ideas with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Ensuring the quality of our software solutions through infrastructure as code, automation, and collaboration with development teams.
  • Responsibility for the continuous improvement of the devops process in the team

What we expect from you

  • A degree in the field of (business) informatics, comparable courses of study or trainings
  • Profound practical experience in software development and infrastructure as code within the DevOps ecosystem, with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with current tools, methods, and processes of modern software engineering and infrastructure management.
  • Enjoyment of complex infrastructure tasks and varied projects, as well as a passion for improving operational efficiency and the quality of the results.
  • Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or other agile project procedure models.
  • Very good knowledge of English – English level B2.
  • Good knowledge of German is an advantage, as Exxeta s.r.o. mainly supports German projects of Exxeta AG in Germany.
  • Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
  • Monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
